I’m Emile Bagtas, a proud Christian not because of what I’ve done, but because of what God has done and is still doing for me. I’ve been blessed for the last 17 years with my family, my friends, music, art… food.

I long to fulfill my Creator’s calling for me. As of now, I can see myself as a professional musical arranger and composer, and a dude who shoots anything or anyone he sees worth shooting… with his cameras, regularly.

Permalink spiritualinspiration: “Set your minds and keep them set on what is above, the higher things, not on the things that are on earth” (Colossians 3:2). Faith is simply seeing what God sees. It’s choosing God’s way, even when things look differently in the natural. When you set your thoughts on higher things, you are looking at life through your eyes of faith and seeing what God sees. For example, you may have a financial need today, but when you look higher, you see God’s promise to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. You may have sickness in your body today, but when you look higher, you see that Jesus paid for your sickness and diseases. You may feel lonely today, but when you look higher, you see that God has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. As you study the Word of God, you are setting your thoughts on higher things. As you set your thoughts on higher things, your faith will become stronger, and you will begin to see those things become reality in your life. You’ll see God’s hand of blessing, and you will live the abundant life He has prepared for you.

Permalink spiritualinspiration: We must take the opportunity daily to REFOCUS our priorities, intentions and desires. The bible encourages us in Matthew 6:33 to “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” Seeking God FIRST must be a priority for the believer. We seek God so He can bring us out of this world’s way of doing things and teach us how to live according to His way of doing things. When we seek God first we learn to FOCUS our understanding on the relationship we have with God our father. Jeremiah 29:13 assures us that if we seek God with all our heart we will find Him. What an awesome promise to us as His children! When Jesus is our FOCUS, we know that every need we may have has already been met!

Permalink spiritualinspiration: As a believer in Jesus, you have certain privileges because you belong to Christ. When you chose Him, God put a blood line around you that the enemy cannot cross. As long as you’re keeping Him first place, you have a hedge of protection, a hedge of favor, a hedge of mercy surrounding you like a shield. When difficulties come, God says that because you’re His child, because you honor Him, even though that problem has formed, in the end it is not going to prosper. When it’s all said and done, it’s not going to harm you. God is going to turn it around and use it to your advantage. That’s your heritage as a believer!
